Halloween 2011

For Halloween this year Braden was a dinosaur and Britton was a tiger. Braden was very excited about dressing up and collecting candy from the neighbors. He ran from house to house saying, "I needs to gets more candy!" We hit a pretty good portion of the neighborhood before he pooped out and said, "I all done candy." Britton loved people watching while we were out trick or treating and loved being able to kick back in the wagon and take it all in.

Britton's First Birthday

We started the day with special birthday pancakes. Pancakes are always a big hit in this house!

Next, we headed to the mall to take Britton to Build-A-Bear. This was a little chaotic, and I wasn't able to take any pictures. Britton did seem to enjoy it. He made a bear dressed in a Titans uniform named Cuddles. We ate lunch at Chick-fil-A, a family favorite. Then, we headed home for naps.

Later that evening, we gave Britton a few gifts. He LOVED peeking in the bags to find his surprises!



On Saturday we had his birthday party at our house. We had fun celebrating with family and friends.

Opening gifts. Britton was surprisingly patient and loved finding new surprises in each package. I was able to occupy Braden with a few special "Big Brother" gifts.

Britton 10,11, and 12 months!

Britton turned 1 on October 7th!!! Crazy, right?!?

The BIG 1 Year Old!!!

I can't believe my sweet "little" Britton is already 1. He is such a happy boy. He has a happy and infectious little giggle. When you hear him laugh, it is impossible to not smile or chuckle. Britton will walk if he is holding on to someone or something, but he hasn't braved walking solo yet. When he does... I am in TROUBLE! I have a feeling that he will walk for about a day and then go straight to running just like his big brother. He has a handful of words, and seems to add a new word to his vocabulary every couple of days.

Now for some stats:
Weight: 25 pounds 15 ounces (90-95th%)
Height: 32.25 inches (off the charts)
Tooth count: 11 (on his birthday), 13 and almost 14 (as of today)

4th of July Fun and Other Random Cuteness

We celebrated the 4th of July back in West TN with our families. The boys did great traveling (other than waking up with the sun every day). We were able to go swimming twice while we were there. Braden and Britton had so much fun. They LOVE water! Family, fireworks, BBQ, ribs, and fun in the sun... such a great trip!

Britton 7, 8, and 9 months

Yes, you read that right... 9 months old already! I can't believe it!

Now for some stats... Britton has 8 teeth! At his 9 month checkup he weighed in at 21 pounds and measured 30.5 inches. He is completely off the charts for height! He is trying to crawl, but can't quite put it all together yet. In the meantime he can roll pretty much anywhere he wants to go (and some places he shouldn't!). He LOVES his big brother! He thinks Mom and Dad are pretty cool, too ;)

Braden's 2nd Birthday Party

Braden's 2nd Birthday Party was a ton of fun! He was surrounded by lots of family and friends. Braden loved being the center of attention. He pigged out on cupcakes and cheese. We enjoyed lunch, cupcakes and ice cream, lots of playtime with friends, gifts, and a pull-string pinata.
